2-12-2022 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

"Observing Report for 06 February 2022 - a second frosty night of galaxy hunting"

Today we enjoy a lengthy and descriptive report by KT4HX (Alan) who once again braved cold temperatures to carry out an outstanding evening of galaxy hunting in constellations ranging from Lynx to Eridanus and Hydra. Starting out with an interloper - the faint globular cluster NGC 2419, one of the furthest globulars from Earth, he ramped up the power and achieved some resolution of the object through his 17.5" Dob, followed by Arp 6 the Bear Paw galaxy and many others. Capturing these faint and distant denizens with the eye is always a rewarding experience. Congratulations to Alan on winning the VROD for the day!
