Photo of the Day

12-8-2019 TSS Astronomy Photo of the Day.

by Gordon

What is termed the Rosette nebula is actually a complex of NGC designations. So when you get a chance to photograph it you also include many other smaller objects. The clouds from this star nursery where stars are born is a favorite target for those who use narrowband filters.

Our pick for today is a great example!

Congratulations to yobbo89 (Rob) for having his Rosette image selected as today's TSS APOD!
