"Binocular session, the comet, and the planets"

Now is the time to chase down comet Leonard before it disappears. Follow along as Bigzmey (Andrey) describes his efforts to see Leonard just after sunset with his 15x70 binos from home. First the planets came into view, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and then the hunt for the comet began in earnest. Catching the second reference star in the field of view, Epsilon Microscopii, he was able to sweep up the comet as a bright object with the initial impression being that it resembled a globular cluster, with the coma then becoming visible then the hint of a tail. Why not try for it tonight and get the feeling that you have won the lottery! Congratulations Andrey on winning the VROD for the day.
