12-19-2021 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

by helicon

"Oh, this beautiful Wintersky!"

Here we feature a report from last observing season (in fact December 19th, 2020). In it, team member John Baars recounts his celestial adventure under clear skies with his 150mm achromat. He observes nebulae in Orion, clusters in Auriga, noted nebulosity around the Pleiades (with a blue filter), and M35 in Gemini amongst other targets. Congrats on a great report John and the VROD for today, I hope it inspires others to get out there and observe the amazing winter skies!
