12-17-2023 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

by helicon

"Dec. 9th Report"

In today's report we are featuring, Mike Q recounts his experience observing first Jupiter then the mysterious and often invisible Horsehead Nebula. Any time one can make it out visually it is a noteworthy accomplishment, since it is such a difficult and almost invisible object requiring dark skies and a trained eye. Congratulations Mike on advancing your observing skills to the point where you could find it and also on winning the VROD for today!
