11-18-2023 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

by helicon

"Observing Report for 16 November 2023 - Smoke gets in your eyes"

Today's featured report by KT4HX (Alan) covers the constellations of Pegasus, Pisces, and Aries - amongst the finest hunting grounds for galaxies in the heavens. Utilizing his 17.5" Dobsonian he was able to pull in numerous examples of these faint gossamer denizens.

Unfortunately a couple of hours into/after the session the skies became smokey due to the presence of a 3,000 acre fire about 52 miles away from his home in Western Virginia.

Nevertheless, the session was a success. Congratulations Alan on winning the VROD for the day!
