"Pisces and Cetus Galaxies"

As an adjunct to his observing report about the annular solar eclipse bigzmey (Andrey) also has filed a report about his galactic sojourns on the same trip to Anza. Focusing on Pisces and Cetus, both faintish constellations that are hard to see at home for most folks (maybe outside of Mira - omicron Ceti which sometimes is relatively bright as a variable star) he hunted down a dazzling array of island universes through his Celestron 9.25" Edge SCT.

Taking a bit of a different tack, he aimed for mostly IC-designated objects, a catalog which is not as well known as Herschels' New General Catalogue (NGC) but as pointed out - a few are brighter than NGC objects actually. Congratulations Andrey on a highly successful evening out there under the stars and on winning today's VROD!
