10-17-2022 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

"Observing Report for 14 October 2022 - a little pre-moon galaxying hunting in Andromeda"

Today's featured report is an investigation of Andromeda and its galactic riches by KT4HX (Alan). Going off the beaten track he observed a nice haul of galaxies in the constellation and interestingly noted an observational anomaly. Basically he observed an example of two galaxies in proximity to each other one of which was technically fainter than the other but appeared brighter at the eyepiece. He speculates as to what might have caused this. Great report Alan and congratulations on winning the VROD for the day!
