VROD

1-9-2023 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

by helicon

"A Casual Day of Observing"

Today's featured report is courtesy of The Wave Catcher (Steve) who managed to observe a wide variety of objects incuding Neptune, Uranus, Jupiter, double stars, and a carbon star. The impressive thing is that the outer gas giants were resolved into disks. And the doubles he observed were quite challenging but beautiful. He also observed the sun during the daytime (catching the sunspots) and left the scope outside in anticipation of an evening of stargazing. All in all a very productive session - congrats Steve on winning the VROD for the day!
