1-30-2024 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

by helicon

"Galilean Goings on 29 JAN 24"

Today's featured report from Naked Gun focuses on the Jovian moons. As a system unto their own, these denizens orbiting Jupiter can put on a show, emerging from darkness into the light and vice versa as they make their way around Jupiter.

The shadows, transits, and occultations are definitely something to look for, with both Io and Europa making appearances. Later on, he viewed Uranus and M42 to cap off the night. Nice evening Naked Gun and congratulations on attaining the VROD award for the day!
