VROD

1-29-2022 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

"ISS and random objects"

Member Dave Sellars started out his eve showing his kids the ISS in binoculars and then M42, much to their delight. After putting the children to bed he resumed a successful impromptu session with both his 120mm ST refractor and binoculars, managing views of M42 and the Running Man nebula as well as M31 and M33, the latter of which can be tough to spot in binos unless you have sufficiently dark skies. He closed out the evening with the Double Cluster and Heart and Soul Nebula plus the Pleiades. Congratulations Dave on winning the VROD for the day!
