"Double Star 77 Piscium Lunar Occultation"

Today's featured report from The Wave Catcher (Steve) concerns the occultation of the double 77 Piscium by the moon, Steve was able to measure both the disappearance of the pair and also the re-appearance on the other side of the moon using 140 power through his 80mm refractor.

Spending time with Jupiter, also using this new eyepiece he was able to resolve several belts, noting festoon features, and the Jovian moons all on the east side of the planet. The moon also was an attractive draw for his new glass.

Congratulations Steve on winning the VROD for today for a very cool and successful session!
