Photo of the Day

1-27-2020 TSS Astrophotography Photo of the Day.

by Gordon

Today we take a look at one of the most imaged objects in the night sky. The Orion nebula. Visible to the naked eye it has always been a 'go to' for Astrophotographers. However, the brightness can also be a problem. Trying to capture the stars in the Trapezium and still get the colors and depth of the nebula itself is a real challenge.

Congratulations to member JohnP_1 for being successful in capturing the beauty of Orion.
