VROD

1-20-2023 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

by helicon

"A look in the rear view mirror, with a southern perspective"

We only occasionally see reports from our southern hemisphere colleagues about their observing experiences with a whole different set of constellations, or at least, those visible in the north are low in the sky whereas in the south they dominate the zenith. In this milieu KT4HX (Alan) was able to take a small refractor on a business trip and enjoy the different sights, at least to a northerner.

Follow along as he describes these wonders while observing down south. And without further adieu click on the link below to get a sense of what he saw back in 2017, and congratulations Alan on winning the VROD for the day for your classic report!
