1-16-2023 TSS Visual Report of the Day.

by helicon

"New Year, New scope, New Messiers!"

Today we go back in time to hopefully jog the memory of folks about the old days on AF.net, where many of us observers were tracking down the Messier Award badges. Most of us have graduated to "NGC" status these days and are copying William, John, and Catherine Herschel. In this report, bigzmey (Andrey) explores some winter DSO's back in 2016. The good news is that you can replicate these observations during this period in January 2023. So let's get out there and get in some scope time, weather permitting! Congratulations Andrey on winning today's VROD award for your fun report.
